Description:

Call Center Operator - Operate telephone switchboards and systems to advance and complete connections. Suggest and check alternate spellings, locations, and/or listing formats to customers lacking details or complete information. Offer special assistance to persons such as those who are unable to dial or who are in emergency situations. Monitor fire alarms and placing calls to emergency help. Keep records of calls placed and received in regards to special requests and emergency situations. Monitor and report guage readings on campus boilers.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to create and edit word, excel, and pdf documents. Must be able to spell correctly and pay attention to detail on legal documentation. Must be willing to work with angry customers over the phone. Must be willing to work assigned shifts, including day, swing, grave shifts. Must be willing to work assigned weekend and holiday shifts. Must submit resume, cover letter, and Summer class schedule.
